On 25 October 2019 at 19:30, at the St. Michael and All Angels\u2019 Anglican Church, Weltevreden Park, the choir will share the year\u2019s experiences in a concert that holds beauty of the sights and sounds of nature at its heart.<\/p>\n<p>Under the excellent leadership of renowned conductor, Renette Bouwer, the UJ Choir will present their most varied experimental repertoire yet, with a fresh new feel of African music conducted by prot\u00e9g\u00e9, Sizwe Mondlane.<\/p>\n<p>Formed in 2005 from the former RAU Choir and RAU Chorale, UJ Choir has taken gold in both its categories (Mixed Choirs Western music repertoire and Folk Music A Cappella) at the World Choir Games 2018. The choir consists of UJ students studying a range of qualifications that do not include music.<\/p>\n<p>The UJ Choir\u2019s Celebration Concert will be presented on Friday, 25 October at 19:30 at the St. Michael and All Angels\u2019 Anglican Church (1123 Cornelius St, Weltevredenpark, Roodepoort, 1709). Tickets: R100 (R50 Students\/Pensioners).<\/p>\n<p><b>NOTES TO THE EDITOR<\/b><\/p>\n<p>UJ Arts &amp; Culture, a division of the Faculty of Art, Design &amp; Architecture (FADA) produces and presents world-class student and professional arts programmes aligned to the UJ vision of an international university of choice, anchored in Africa, dynamically shaping the future.
