Auditions for the UJ Arts Academy and UJ productions take place at the same time. Students may be selected for either a production, or acting classes – not both. Classes and rehearsals are presented weekly.
Jazz Band is a weekly offering. The band is musically directed by a professional musician with many years of teaching experience. The classes include instrumentalists and vocalists and are structured in such a way that allows one to express their creativity, share their compositions and talent with the group and improve their performance and playing. Band musicians will perform in a showcase at the end of the year where they will give us a taste of what they’ve learned through-out the year.
For your audition: The audition runs like a workshop where the facilitator listens and gives guidance and tips to musicians. Prepare your best song and get ready to wow us with your amazing musical talent.
