2023 Communication Design Exhibition
In 2023 UJ Department of Graphic Design had an intensive year of positive industry interaction and growth. The department worked with distinguished stakeholders of numerous projects, including the French Institute, Johannesburg Zoo, Girls and Boys Town South Africa and the African Reclaimers Organisation. Gabriella de Abreu won a Silver Loerie of her Research-Led Practice book on Braamfontein. Sana Machabi won a silver Pendoring for her animation, Kurisani. Philasande Masoga won two silver Pendorings, one for campaign and one for branding.
